   Who has custody of the child? If custody is shared, you do need consent. If you have sole custody, than you can leave.

   Based on the fact that the baby is apparently a Canadian citizen, you should be fine. But check, via your embassy/immigration, police, etc.

   I believe that, If custody is shared, you can leave your home but you must stay in the same city.
